Your Monarchy Has Seen Better Days – Bye now Liz, nice to know ya!
So the news is out, it appears the old bird Queen Elizabeth II of England may be going broke. Being born in England, this caught my full attention. Reports have it that she will be busticated (cash-shy) by the year 2012. Believe it or not I actually have an opinion on this and am willing to share. If she goes broke one would assume that the whole monarchy thing would phase out. It’s an old tired dinosaur figurehead system consisting of old tired dinosaurs, as well as old tired dinosaur ideas and concepts… And for crying out loud, she cost the public £41.5 million in 2008! Hang it up whydoncha? Many of the ideals that she represented were those of ancient times. Get out of the way so England can move on already.
If the Queen goes broke, my final words to the old bird whose nation I resided in until the ripe old age of 12 consist of “Tara mum, don’t let the door hit you in the back on the way out luv!” Surely there must be more important issues for England to be spending more than £41.5 million on in 2009 than your antiquated entitlements.

Methinks that some people were so deep in the drama surrounding MJ’s death that they chose to see his face because they wanted to.
